Levi's blessing day, October 16, was such a wonderful day. I felt such a special spirit as Todd gave him a name and a blessing in our church. He was joined in the circle by both our fathers, my brother-in-law Adam, our neighbor Mike, and a family friend Aaron.
Here are a few things that he was blessed with:
*Reminded to remember his forefathers, that he comes from rich pioneer blood, that they made many sacrifices and had great faith
*To be able to recognize the whispers of the Spirit
*To be a good example
*Serve an honorable mission
*Marry a sweet wife and have a family
*Remember the priesthood is important and the key to his success
*Have a close relationship with his Heavenly Father
Another failed attempt at a good family picture. It may be years before I get one worthy of hanging on the wall again!
...and this is the only picture I took at our big pig pickin' Southern style dinner (may Nummy rest in peace). We ate smoked pork with our family and so many good friends and I felt so happy and blessed. It was a wonderful day!

aw, Levi's big day! Love it! And I also love your family photo... oh Louis, Louis, Louis *getting down on one knee* "Will you marry my daughter?" (in like 20 years... or more)
I admire your continued efforts to obtain a presentable family picture. Press on! Love the one of the girls in the hallway--those two are so goofy!
