{What I learned in school today}

Caroline brought this home from school yesterday.

Allow me to interpret.

1 I see my dad.
2 I see my fish
3 I see my cat.
4 I see my penny.
5

Let's revisit number one for a minute.

She drew hair... then erased it.
'Cuz real daddy's don't have hair.
But they DO have soul patches.

First of all, when did Elizabeth turn into a young woman?? I cannot believe how grown up and beautiful she is!! Secondly, I think we should all have pictures of ourselves drawn by young artists...they are always honest...I love the soul patch!!!

Oh man, that is so awesome. Ryan still has a full head of hair. But a couple years ago Kathleen had to draw something that rhymed with dad. So she drew "Mad" Dad. She was really worried it would offend him. But I guess not since it has been taped on our bathroom door ever since.
